IPL ends with Chennai winning it

Last night I stayed up till 12:30 am watching the whole match and wanting Mumbai to win it with my Mumbai Indian jersey on BUT even with an injured Sachin scoring 48 runs of 45 balls they were not able to get it and were only able to make 146-9 in reply to Chennai's 168-5.

So after the match few things still remained at Mumbai's side.They were:-
1.Sachin Tendulkar remained the top scorer of IPL 2010.
2.Mumbai retained there record of not bein "ALL OUT" in any of IPL 2010 match.

Which team were you cheering?Well, it doesn't matter now.
Let me tell you this.I wasn't satisfied with this match.This was the final.I hoped it to be more intense,close match but it was a known match after 19.2 overs at Mumbai's side which wasn't the case in IPL 2009 or 2008.So this year was good but the 2nd year was great so the 4th one should we AWESOME.And also there will be a BIG shuffling in the 4th year as the contracts were for only 3 years and even two new teams will be added - Kochi and Pune which makes it more interesting.So the IPL 2010 is over with my rating as 8/10 to the whole tournament.Hey the T20 World Cup is coming closee.Its starting on 30th April.More Twenty Twenty coming your way

CSK vs MI DLF IPL 3 Final

Well! Well! Well! we have got the finals.Its Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings.So let me tell you the results of that matches in which these teams have faced off.

DLF IPL 3

1st Match:- Mumbai wins

2nd Match:- Chennai wins

Its 1-1 in this IPL season.

DLF IPL 2

1st Match:- Chennai wins

2nd Match:-Mumbai wins

Again 1-1.Great going.

DLF IPL 1

1st Match:-Mumbai wins

2nd Match:-Chennai wins

1-1 again.

So if we see their previous records in previous Indian Premier League's we see that they have had a tough competition.In every IPL the score between Chennai and Mumbai is 1-1.In IPL 1 and IPL 2 we didn't saw the result of their face-offs but in this season we will get one.The 3rd match between Chennai and Mumbai in this season will tell us which team is better than another.In this season Mumbai Indians really played fantastically and won 10 matches out of 14.Great batting from Sachin Tendulkar helped them very much to win those matches.And if we look at Chennai's side they won 7 matches out of 14.If we see their records of this IPL we will see that Mumbai is in good form so they could win it but they have never made it to finals of any IPL season except this which Chennai has done.They were in the first IPL final and lost in the last over.So they have the fire in them to do what they have missed doing in the first season.

So now which team do I support?Well,I support Mumbai Indians because of their fantastic form in this IPL and because of players such as Sachin Tendulkar,Harbhajan Singh,Zaheer Khan etc.Which team do you support?Tell in the comments.And also today i.e 24th April 2010 is the birthday of Sachin Tendulkar so I want to wish him HAPPY BIRTHDAY SACHIN as he turns 37.

Bangalore tries but loses;Chennai loses despite great batting

Hello everybody,yesterday there were two matches.They were:-
Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
Delhi Daredevils won by 17 runs.
Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians won by 5 wickets.


Delhi Daredevils vs Royal Challengers Bangalore
This match started with Delhi batting first.With every batsman batting very nicely Delhi was able to make 183-4.KM Jadhav(50*) stole the show when he used his batting skills in the end of Delhi's innings which made it easier for Delhi to score such a big total.Jadhav scored his maiden 50 not out in 29 balls with 5 fours and 2 sixes.The target set for Bangalore was 184 runs in 20 overs which was surely a difficult one.They started with a bang with Kallis(27) and Pandey(39) opening.They both made a partnership of 71 runs in 55 balls when Kallis got out.After that only Virat Kohli(38) was able to score more than 30 runs.This led up to Bangalore scoring only 166-9 giving Delhi the win.
Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians
The match started with Chennai batting first.It looked like Mumbai Indians had it all with them when they took out Parthiv Patel(8) and Matthew Hayden(20) both at 38 runs.But that was not the case when Raina(83*) and Badrinath(55*) made a thrilling partnership of 142 runs in just 90 balls making 180-2 as the total of Chennai Super Kings.Earlier yesterday in the first match Delhi had scored 184 runs and won that match so it looked like that Chennai is gonna win that easily.But Sachin Tendulkar and Shikhar Dhawan had some other plans when they started their batting with a partnership of 92 runs in just 53 balls.Their partnership ended with Shikhar Dhawan getting out but he made 56 runs with 5 fours and 3 sixes.Sachin Tendulkar was the great one yesterday when he scored 72 runs and got out in the second last over of the match.Mumbai Indians got back in the match in the 16th over when Perera gave them 19 runs.Before this over it was 48 runs to win from 30 balls which turned into 29 runs to win from 24 balls after that over.Mumbai Indians made 184-5 to win this game with 6 balls remaining.

Rajasthan beats Punjab by 31 runs

Hello everybody,yesterday there was only one match.It was:-
Rajasthan Royals vs Kings XI Punjab
Rajasthan won by 31 runs.
This time Rajasthan batted fist and they batted very nicely making 183-5.The highest scorers were Lumb(41),Fazal(45) and Voges(45).Only first five batsmen of Punjab made more than 10 runs.They were Bopara(25),Sangakkara(29),Bisla(35),Yuvraj(15) and Jayawardane(23).And Punjab was able to make only 152-10 giving Rajasthan Royals the win.

Bangalore beats Chennai by 36 runs

Hello everybody,yesterday there was only one match.It was:-
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Chennai Super Kings
Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 36 runs.
This one was a really nice match.The match starting with Bangalore batting first but this time Kallis(19) didn't made much runs.The highest scorers of Bangalore were Robin Uthappa(68*) and Virat Kohli(24) which helped the most in making 171-5 as their total.Chennai didn't started well as Parthiv Patel(1) got out on the last ball of the first over.After that only Matthew Hayden(32) and Badrinath(31) were able to score more than 20 runs.Even Dhoni wasn't playing yesterday which led to giving the captaincy to Suresh Raina who usually plays well but this time was able to make only 9 runs.The total of Chennai Super Kings was 135-7 in 20 overs.

Korbo Lorbo Harbo continues

Hello everybody,yesterday there was only one match.It was:-
Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians won by 7 wickets.
Kolkata loses again.They batted very nicely with Chris Gayle(75),Sourav Ganguly(31) and Owais Shah(31).Angelo Mathews also batted but made only 3 runs not out.This led to a difficult yet a total 155-3 which can be chased.Despite their batting efforts they were not able to bowl that good and couldn't take Sachin(71*) out.This was their biggest mistake of the match as Sachin stayed till the last with the help of Dhawan(23),Tiwary(30) and Sathish(21*).As this match ended Kolkata loses their 3rd consecutive match with continuing KORBO LORBO HARBO.Its difficult to except a win from Kolkata but still as it is Shah Rukh Khan's team I can't help me supporting it.

Deccan beats Delhi by 10 runs;Punjab wins in super over

Hello everybody,yesterday there were two matches in IPL.They were:-
Deccan Chargers vs Delhi Daredevils
Deccan Chargers won by 10 runs.
Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab
The match was a draw.After that,Punjab won in super over.
Deccan Chargers vs Delhi Daredevils
The match started badly for Deccan as their opener Mishra(1) got out in the 1st over.This time even Gilchrist(26) didn't made much runs.Gibbs(31) tried and made a well score.The highest scorer of Deccan were Symonds(35) and Rohit Sharma(45).The total score of Deccan was 171-6.Then Delhi came to bat.Their was not much to see from Delhi.Only three batsmen made more than 10 runs.They were Warner(57),AB De Villiers(27) and Dinesh Karthik(45).With the help of these three batsmen Delhi were able to make 161-9 but were not able to win this match.
Chennai Super Kings vs Kings XI Punjab
This match was really awesome and the most interesting match of IPL Season 3.Punjab batted first and made 136-8 with Yuvraj Singh(43) as the highest scorer and Sangakkara(39) as the second highest scorer.Then Chennai batted and made 136-7 with Parthiv Patel(57) as the highest scorer and Matthew Hayden(33) as the second highest scorer.Chennai could have won it.In the last ball of the innings they need 1 run to win with Ashwin on crease.Irfan Pathan bowled and Ashwin got caught by Kaif.Then we saw a Super Over.In the Super Over,Chennai batted first and made 9 runs in 5 balls.Then Punjab batted and made 10 runs easily in 4 balls taking away the win from Chennai.

Kolkata loses again;Bangalore wins again

Hello people,yesterday there were two matches.They were:-
Rajasthan Royals vs Kolkata Knight Riders
Rajasthan Royals won by 34 runs.
Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Mumbai Indians
Royal Challengers Banglore won by 7 wickets
Rajasthan vs Kolkata
This one was a match which Kolkata could easily win if they would have played faster.Rajasthan had scored 168-7 in 20 overs.Kolkata made 134-5.They had 5 wickets with them but they still played so slowly as if they came to the match to lose.Korbo Lorbo Harbo.This was their 2nd consecutive loss.
Bangalore vs Mumbai
Mumbai wasn't able to score much but still they were able to score 151-9.Some players like Sachin Tendulkar(25),Tiwary(25),Sathish(24) etc. made this score possible.Bangalore have many good batsmen in their team such as Kallis,Pandey which made it very easy for Bangalore to score a victory.Pandey scored 40 runs and Kallis scored 66* not out.They made 155-3 in 19.1 overs.This was their 3rd consecutive win.

Hayden's 93 makes Chennai win;Symonds 53 makes Deccan Win

Hello people,yesterday there were two matches which took place.They were:-
Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils
Chennai won by 5 wickets 
Deccan Chargers vs Kings XI Punjab
Deccan Chargers won by 6 runs
Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils
The first match,Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils was a very interesting one.Delhi Daredevils batted first and they batted very nicely,especially Sehwag(74), Manhas(32*) and Bhatia(21) were the only ones who scored more than 20 runs.As Sehwag has scored such a massive score(74) they were able to make 185-6.Chennai Super Kings started very well before Parthiv Patel(6) got out on 21 runs.Then it was Badrinath(14) who got out on 64 runs.Then came Raina(49*),he batted very well and stayed not out.But the one who made Chennai win was Hayden(93) with 9 fours and 7 sixes in only 43 balls.This way Chennai were able to make 190-5 in 19.1 overs.
Deccan Chargers vs King XI Punjab
Deccan Chargers were the ones who batted first and Gilchrist(33) yet again made a nice score in just 12 balls.Then VVS Laxman(10) got retired hurt and had to leave the pitch.Gibbs(23) was only able to make 23 runs and then got bowled out by Yuvraj Singh.Then Symonds(53) batted and played very nicely,becoming the highest scorer of their team.After that only Suman(26) and Chaminda Vaas(16) were able to cross 10 runs.This way Deccan Chargers were able to score 170-7 in 20 overs.Kings XI Punjab had a very bad start with their wickets falling one after other.They were at 104-7 when Irfan Pathan came to rescue them and he did that.He made 60 runs in 29 balls with 3 fours and 5 sixes.This way Punjab reached 152 in 19 overs but Pathan wasn't able to hold on to the field and got out on the first ball of the last over.Then it was up to Bipul and Sreesanth to make Punjab win in 5 balls which they nearly did.They made 12 runs in those 5 balls making the total score 164-8 in 20 overs.

Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bangalore

Bangalore Crushes Rajasthan

Yup,they did that.Bangalore crushed Rajasthan yesterday.Bangalore bowled so well that Rajasthan was not even able to score a century.They got all out at 92.Even we saw a hat trick by Praveen Kumar as 85-5,85-6,85-7.In the starting it didn't looked like that Rajasthan will score so low when the first wicket was gone at 27 runs.Yusuf Pathan was playing well at 26 runs but even he got run out and then Bangalore took all the wickets making them all out at only 92 runs.Then Bangalore came to bat and guess what,they won without losing any wickets.Pandey scored 42 runs and Kallis scored 44 runs in only 10.4 overs.It surely will be the best victory for Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Exams are gone and I am Back with IPL results

Exams are gone and I am Back,today it was the last day.The last exam and with this and I am free once again.And even IPL is back,so you know how much I am fond of cricket and every year I tell the results of IPL matches with some details.Yesterday there was a match between Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils.Here is the result:-

Mumbai Indians beat Delhi Daredevils by 98 runs.Sachin Tendulkar was the highest run scorer from Mumbai by scoring 62 runs.Even SS Tiwary made 61 runs.The total of the Mumbai team was 218-7.Delhi Daredevils needed 219 to win from of course 20 overs.Delhi's highest scorer was Maharoof.He made only 28 runs and second highest was Sehwag who made 26 runs.So Delhi was only able to make 120 and got all out.Mumbai won this match and Sachin Tendulkar got the Man Of The Match.

Exams are coming I am going

Hello everybody.With my final exams on the way this is my last post till 17th March.My final exams are starting from 2nd March with the first exam as Maths.This post is to tell you that I will not be making posts or doing anything to my blog till 17th March and after that date I will be writing posts about the results of DLF IPL 2010 which is starting on 12th March.Supporting Royal Challengers Bangalore this time.Hope that they win it.Tell me which team do you want to win in the comments and also give me Best Of Luck for the exams.

Results of Semifinals and Final.

As you know now the IPL tournament is over.So now I am giving you the results of 2 Semifinals and the final.First take the result of the semifinals.
1st Semifinal-Delhi vs Jaipur:Jaipur beat Delhi by 105 runs.

2nd Semifinal-Mohali vs Chennai:Chennai beat Mohali by 9 wickets.
Final-Chennai vs Jaipur:Jaipur beat Chennai by 3 wickets.

The final was a brilliant and a very intresting match.First the toss was won by the Royals and they choose to bowl first.The Royals bowled well and Yusuf Pathan bowled brilliantly from the Rajasthan Royals team and took three big wickets as Parthiv Patel,Vidyut and Albie Morkel.This took Chennai to make 163-5 in 20 overs and Suresh Raina was the highest scorer from Chennai team.The Rajasthan went to bat but they lost there openers very early.First Niraj Patel (FOW-19-1) and then Swapnil Asnodkar (FOW-41-2). Then Kamran Akmal also not did a good job and made only 6 runs(FOW-42-3). Then Shane Watson and Yusuf Pathan made a good partnership and take the Royals near to the win but Shane Watson got out on 28 runs(FOW-107-4). Then Kaif got out and he made only 12 runs (FOW-139-5).Then Jadeja came and wanted to play a very good shot in his first bowl only but his bowl got edged from the bat and Jadeja got out on a duck (FOW-139-6). Then a big wicket got run out as Yusuf Pathan and he made the highest score 56 runs from Rajasthan innings (FOW-143-7).Then Shane Warne and Sohail Tanvir played well and in the last over Rajasthan needed 8 runs to win.Then in the first 5 balls of the last over Rajasthan got 7 runs and then they needed 1 run to win from 1 ball and Tanvir was on strike and at last ball Tavir hit the ball and took a single by which Rajasthan won the match by 3 wickets and they also won the Indian Priemier League (IPL).

Yesterday there was a match between Delhi vs Hyderabad.The result is:-
Result:Delhi beat Hyderabad by 12 runs.
First Hyderabad won the toss and choose to bowl first and then Delhi went to bat with openers-Sehwag and Ghambhir.Then to show that Adam Gilchrist(Captain of DC) has taken a good decision Vijaykumar got Sehwag out in the last bowl of the over on a duck but after that Shikhar Dhawan and Gautam Ghambhir made a solid partnership of 133 runs but after that Ojha took wicket of Ghambhir and did a break through for Deccan Chargers and this took Delhi to make 194-4 in 20 overs.Ghambhir was the highest scorer from Delhi team by making 79 runs.
Then Hyderabad went to bat and lost their captain Gilchrist in the 3rd over only.Then Shahid Afridi and Herschelle Gibbs did a good partnership of 50 runs.Then after that Rohit Sharma played well but not very well so they made only 182-9 and in this match Amit Mishra took a hattrick.It was the second hattrick in this tournament.

Result of a IPL match

As you all know yesterday there was a match between Kolkata vs Delhi.
Take the result of that match.
Result:Kolkata beat Delhi by 23 runs.
First Kolkata team won the toss and chose to bat first.They went to the ground with the openers-Salman Butt and Aakaash Chopra and they made a partnership of 35 runs and then Aakash Chopra got out on 13 runs.Then Saurav Ganguly(C) came and not done very useful thing for Kolkata and got out on just 7 runs with a sixer.Then David Hussey came and he was playing very slowly slowly but after that they managed to get only 133-6 in 20 overs and Salman Butt was the highest scorer from Kolkata side.Then Kolkata went to bat and Delhi lost their captain Virender Sehwag in the first over on 0.Then in another over of Shoaib Akhtar he took another big wicket as Gautam Ghambir on 10.Then in his third over he took 2 wickets as Ab de Villiers and Manoj Tiwary and in the 18th over Laxmi Ratan Shukla took 3 wickets and take the game into Kolkata Knight Riders's hand.
